Oh dear... Another Jo Waller "hit piece" which relies solely on epidemiological garbage and touts "associations" and "links" as being akin to "cause & effect"... 😂

Jo, the Biochemistry is absolutely clear on the essential role and functions of Omega-3s within the cells themselves - no amount of observational guesswork (aka epidemiology) can undermine the credibility of the experimental evidence (aka biochemistry, endocrinology & cellular biology) - sorry, but it's not even a valid contest as to which form of evidence is superior... 🤷‍♂️

Where you and I might find some sort of agreement (I suspect) is on the supplement industry (in general) is rife with con-artists, scams & snake oil salesmen - this is also true of the fish oils segment... 99% of the products available today oxidize incredibly easily as soon as any heat is introduced, so they start to oxidize as soon as they are ingested because of the internal warmth of the human body - this means the Omega-3s go rancid quicker than they are absorbed into cells to do their work...

The 1% which are effective have figured out ingenious ways to provide antioxidant protection - the brand I am using insists on independent testing and of their data sample of 1.6 million people, 96% show (via independent testing) significant improvement in their:

- Omega-6 to Omega-3 ratio.

- Omega-3 levels.

- Inflammatory biomarkers.
